The 3 tonne excavator along with a bobcat is an ideal combination setup for those limited access jobs that still need power behind a machine to get the job done.

Our smallest 3 tonne excavator is 1550mm wide, making manouvering around small areas an ease.

L&D Earthmoving have 17 x 3 tonne combos available on our fleet, making them readily available for your earthmoving needs.

Each combinations are equipped with many attachments, including augers, rock breakers, compaction wheels and rippers.

L&D Operator Shane has been working with Seymour Whyte Constructions on the Gateway Highway North Upgrade during 2013, continuing on to 2014. 

His 4 tonne excavator has been put to use on many tasks, including working in swampy areas under overpasses, to being craned across the highway!

We are excited to see the progress of this project through 2014.

L&D Operators were treated to a BBQ breakfast at our yard on Wednesday, hosted by the great guys at ALL CLASS.

Along with them, they brought the latest Kubota excavators. Our operators were able to take them for a test run around the yard and were very pleased with the machinery.

Bobcats are tough, reliable and versatile machinery with the agility to move materials as well as load trucks.

Bobcats are mainly used for slab or turf preparation, moving, cleaning and spreading materials.

With the use of added attachments, bobcats can also bore holes and sweep areas.

L&D Earthmoving also have Positrack bobcats available for hire.

These machines have increased traction & low ground pressure which prevents damage to ground surface making them best for soft, sandy or steep ground.
